An overview of our firm.
Derun Lawyers were proposed on April, 2001 and was formally established on 11 October, 2001 in Beijing, China. It is a partnership firm for the aim of providing high ended client with perfection service.
Since the establishment, We had been providing legal service in the area of , security, real estate and construction and intellectual property. We have been providing service to various banks and companies on none - performing assets, debt recovery, issuing shares and bonds and for listed companies and new third board companies on acquisition and reorganization matters. In our service with various security firms, trust companies, insurance companies, private equity investment fund, and internet finance companies, besides providing traditional legal services as required, we also endeavor to explore new areas of financial legal service for the purpose of boarding our client's business horizons. We had an excellent record on providing legal service for construction and real estate companies, such as that we had been involved in 2008 Beijing Olympic construction projects, petrochemical construction projects, real estate development projects and pubic road and plant construction projects. We are also well experienced in taxation governmental matters. Besides mentioned above, we have also been providing legal service and winning litigations in general civil matters, arbitrations, administrative reviews and criminal law matters.
On 2017, Derun Lawyers entered a stage of fast developing and expanding, especially on international related matters. Many originally as partners from top class Chinese law firms, many expert litigants, many from Taiwan in which are experts in cross straight laws and many foreign lawyers from Australia, the United States and Canada had joined us. Thus the capacity of Derun Lawyers suddenly becomes a tiger adding a pair of wings to it, increased dramatically. Especially with our ability in providing international related services and our service quality is comparable with first line larger firms in the Chinese legal market.
We now have more than 30 lawyers from China, Taiwan, Hong Kong (Solicitor), USA, Canada and Australia (Solicitor). Together with all the associates, article clerks, legal assistants, specialists and legal counselors, we have more than a hundred people. We aim at providing first class service in area of finance, capital market, business consultation, arbitration and litigation. In a more precise description, we have expertise in taxation / finance, M&A, securities, intellectual properties / patent and sports / entertainments. As such, with decades of good reputation given to us by our client, we are expecting more clients will trust us and work with us. In fact, we do not only see ourselves a provider of professional legal service, we see ourselves as the provider of legal services under a "Craftsmanship Spirit".

In Derun Lawyers, besides Chinese registered lawyers, many of them are also registered accounts, registered appraiser, registered tax agent, Australian registered solicitor and Canadian registered attorneys. Most of them had graduated from law schools such as Peking University (China), China University of Political Science and Law, Havard (USA) and Yale (USA). Most of the partners were from first class firms of China. Besides this, many of them originally from the Chinese government, such as the Ministry of Finance, Ministry of Personnel and the General Office of the Central Committee. Many of them also originally from the Judicial system, such as the Supreme People's Court of China, different levels of the People's Court, the People's Procuratorate and the Police. Thus, with the qualifications and credentials of our partners and counselors, we are confident that our clients will be satisfied with the service we provides.

Since the establishment of Derun Lawyers, we developed a concept that our client are the center of our concern, therefore our client belongs to our firm, not to any particular individual department or lawyer. Thus once we provide our service to our client, we back it up with the effort of whole firm. We divided the matter up professionally to each individual, but overseen by responsible partners as a whole team work, therefore it is possible to increase our efficiency by putting different resources to the places where it is most in needed. As a result, the service we provided could be guaranteed with diversity and quality.
Our international vision.
As said previously, besides Mainland Chinese registered lawyers, many of Derun lawyers are also registered in the States, Canada, Australia and Taiwan (China). Many of them are dual registered lawyers. Our working language besides Chinese, also includes English, Japanese and German. Thus, we have a team which are capable of providing service in an international nature. Currently our international matters involving countries such as USA, Canada, Australia, Germany, Japan and Taiwan (China). The business involved with issuing bonds / shares overseas, international M&A, international investments and international entertainment matters, such as sports and showbizs. With the current national strategy of the "One Belt, One Road", we also provide legal services to companies which is willing to invest or cooperate across the Chinese border. Accordingly, many of our clients besides are large Chinese companies or State Owned Enterprises, many are also from the top 500 international companies and companies from Hong Kong, Macau and Taiwan.
